    Hello,

I am working on a registration form for a group and need to allow the event heads to enable/disable some of the fields based on if they are offered at the event or not.

This is more or less what I have:
    Name, Email, Phone
Event Dropdown (Based on the selected event different options apply)
Registration Fee (Radio Selection, but is there a way to hide early registration after a set time (For the current event only)?)
Options (check boxes - Pay Dues (always open), Special item 1/2 (depends on event))

I know I can disable the checkboxes with html, but the event heads aren’t going to have access to the chunks and don’t know html. So is there any way that I can dynamically hide/disable the different options based on the event and the time in which they try to register?

I’m also guessing the email template isn’t going to break if items are missing? All the items can be listed as the registration person will know what’s disabled.

This is a bit more complex than I typically work with so any help on how I can accomplish the above would be extremely helpful!

    Thanks

Did you get any further with this?
All I can think of is to use some javascript triggered by the event field which populates the options but it really depends on your situation on how you would go about that. It’s quite possible to use javascript filled fields with eForm as long as you adjust the validation rule for that field accordingly. You could write a simple validation function for the option select field for instance.

        Hello,

I found this: http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamicindex16/formdependency.htm which get’s the job done, but it’s a rather messy option. It would be nice if there was a cleaner system for doing this.

        Anyways thanks for the suggestion!
