I was just reading through a tutorial on setting up askemit and was amazed at how simple it is to do. I don’t think askemit is that great a solution with many false possitives, but it is widely used and some clients mention it so it would be nice to be able to include it.

It seems to me that you could simply run the askemit function during the &eFormOnValidate or the &eFormOnBeforeMailSent events. Has anyone tried this?

Also seems like it would be easy to add to Jot, but that is another post wink

You mean Akismet not Askemit wink

Never tried but yes askimet is used for comments in many apps like Wordpress, pretty efficient by the way and if it’s easy to add to Jot or eForm, I vote for !

I always read it as askemit (or "ask emit" like if Emit was some one you asked something to). rolleyes

I have used it on wordpress with no problems but I have read many people down on it due to many false possitives (hence the part in the tutorial where they mention saving the rejects just in case it makes a mistake).
