    @inherit {{section_classique}}||{{section_pop}}||{{section_conferences}}||{{section_arts}}

    If you want all to be checked, why not:

    @inherit {{section_accueil}}||{{section_classique}}||{{section_pop}}||{{section_conferences}}||{{section_arts}}

    Or did I misunderstood you?

      I think I was not totally clear smiley

      I have 4 sections on my website. 5 if you count the welcome page and the general information about the company. Each section has a kind of tab associated with it. When i’m in a section, I hide the tab associated with it. This is why I don’t want to show everything. By default I want to have the 4 tabs associated with the different kind of services offered and I want to hide the tab associated with the welcome section of the website. This is why I want the default values to be :

      @inherit {{section_classique}}||{{section_pop}}||{{section_conferences}}||{{section_arts}}

      It works well (when viewing the pages, it’s ok), except that, when I edit the document and look at the TVs, there is only 3 sections that are selected :

      {{section_pop}}||{{section_conferences}}||{{section_arts}}

      this is what I don’t understand... is there another way to specify the default options? what is wrong?

      thanks a lot for your help!

      Blaise

      bye

        I create the hidden folder and a document with type css. I copy the css that I want in the new document.

        I put this line in my template: <link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="[~MyCSS~]" />

        And in the view source I got this: <link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="index.php?id=MyCSS" />

        Is this correct? or should I expect something because the page does not seem to render with the CSS at all.

        What am I missing?

        Thanks

          Have you tried to write just:

          {{section_classique}}||{{section_pop}}||{{section_conferences}}||{{section_arts}}

          at the default value for testing? Perhaps there is a bug with @inherit associated to the default values and displaying them when editing...

            I haven’t tried it yet, but try using the ID number instead of the Alias

              Building my first site using Modx and finding it so easy but hit a problem with document stylesheet method.

              I have
               <link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="[~id~]" />
              and it works perfectly when logged in as manager. However when not logged in, the source of the page still has
                <link rel="stylesheet" href="index.php?id=19" type="text/css" media="screen" />

              but no styles are applied.

              I’m running on local machine with virtual host setup for the website.
              Any clues to where I would begin to look to fix this would be much appreciated.

                Logged in/not logged in should have no bearing on the matter. If your css document is id #19, and its content-type is set to text/css, it should work just fine.

                  I know being logged in shouldn’t make a difference but it does.
                  Css document id is 19 and content-type is text/css otherwise I guess it wouldn’t work even when logged in.
                  Just tried it again http://localhost.tw2/index.php?id=1 no styles. Logged in (i another tab) and refreshed the page, styles appear.

                    Is that document assigned to a document group? That’s the only way I can think of where it would make any difference whether or not you are logged in.
