Basically the simplest and easiest solution in my mind is to set the correct email address in site configuration’ s "Users" tab. Due to spam issues most hosts are not allowing other-than-hosted-domain emails in "FROM:" address while sending emails.
eg. I have domain hosted mydomain.com, then using
[email protected] will let eform/modx send emails fine.
