Hello, all. Is there a way to include links in a textarea message field passed to an eForm report template?

I know I can include html links in the report template itself. However, one form I use is a referral form. It has a textarea field with a prewritten text that refers the website (Something like "I found this site, www.mysite.com, very helpful"). It is an editable field and I include the field in the report template. If I put HTML in the textarea text, the tags are included as plain text in the eForm report. How do I get them to appear as an HTML link? Thanks - John

eForm should default to rendering an email as HTML unless explicitly told NOT to do so using the [tt]&sendAsText[/tt] snippet parameter.

eForm is by default also suspicious af any user input and html input is a no no. However you can set the textarea datatype to html or use the &allowhtml=`1` parameter in the snippet call.

        <textarea name="referral" .... eform="Referer text:html:1">blah blah</textarea>

Yes, I find myself a little torn. The security side of me does not want html; I do not want anyone using my site to send referral emails that contain malicious code. On the other hand, it does seem strange to send out a referral without a live link sad Thank you - John
