    Hey,

    I’m using eform 1.4.3 and modx .95.
I’m trying to add the firstname and lastname placeholders into the &subject portion but it does not email the name in the subject of the email. The names are within the email itself though.

I have phx installed as well so that may be the reason the placeholders are not working...
If phx is the problem, then how do I go about fixing it without taking phx out as I’m using it for ditto.

    Thanks,

    Josh

Indeed this may well be caused by PHx. Have a look at this discussion and a hint to a possible solution

I am using eForm 1.4.4 and modx 0.9.6 and cant get the placeholders in subject to work too.
a remarakable thing is when I write the subject parameter like this:
&subject=`An order for cargo delivery from [.person.] ([.org.])`...

The subject in the email received is "An order for cargo delivery from" (even if the placeholders do not work we expect emty brackets"()")
        When I write like this:
&subject=`An order for cargo delivery from [+person+] ([+org+])

The email comes with subject "An order for cargo delivery from ()" - the brackets are on place.

Nice find yentsun ... I’m guessing that part of the code might not have been updated.
