    Hello!
    I am new to MODx, but i like it very much smiley Im using MODx 0.9.5

    My problem is:
    I edited the contactForm-chunk in order to get my language and the specific strings. All worked fine, i wrote test-mails and after editing the gotoid all was fine, but after then it brokes.

    ContactForm-Chunk:
    <p class="error">[+validationmessage+]</p>

    <form method="post" action="[~[*id*]~]" id="EmailForm" name="EmailForm">

    	<fieldset>
    		<h3>Kontakt mit dem Webmaster</h3>
                    (Nachrichten werden zwar weitergeleitet, aber sinnvoller ist es, den <a href="http://xxxxxx.xxx/mx/index.php?id=61">Vorstand</a> anzuschreiben.)<br>
    <br>
    		<input name="formid" type="hidden" value="ContactForm" />

    <div style="width:400px;margin-left:auto;margin-right:auto;text-align:left">
    		<label for="cfName">Ihr Name:
    		<input name="name" id="cfName" class="text" type="text" eform="Your Name::1:" /> </label>
    <br>
    		<label for="cfEmail">Ihre Email-Adresse:
    		<input name="email" id="cfEmail" class="text" type="text" eform="Email Address:email:1" /> </label>
    <br>
    		<label for="cfRegarding">Betreffend:</label>
    		<select name="subject" id="cfRegarding" eform="Form Subject::1">
    			<option value="Generelle Frage">Generelle Frage</option>
    			<option value="Presseanfrage">Presseanfrage</option>
    			<option value="Zusammenarbeit">Zusammenarbeit</option>
                            <option value="xxxx">xxxx</option>
    		</select>
    <br>
    		<label for="cfMessage">Ihre Nachricht:</label><br>
    		<textarea name="message" id="cfMessage" background="#f5f5f5" rows="10" cols="40" eform="Message:textarea:1"></textarea>
    <br>

    		<label>  </label><input type="submit" name="contact" id="cfContact" class="button" value="Abschicken" />
    </div>
    	</fieldset>

    </form>

    The Call:
    [[ContactForm? &sendTo=`[(emailsender)]`]]

    [!eForm? &formid=`ContactForm` &subject=`[+subject+]` &to=`[(email_sender)]` &ccsender=`1` &tpl=`ContactForm` &report=`ContactFormReport` &gotoid=`1`!]

    And my problem:
    Could not instantiate mail function.

    After searching this forum i read about manipulating the php-code, but i didnt find anything, only the chunk and thats HTML. Have i to take a look at the php-code from eForm?

    Had anyone the same problem or a solution for me?

      Hi!

      I don’t have the same problem but i also can’t send mails. I try the first sample of the installation guide and also a own one. But i don’t get mails!
      All works great (checks, thanks page) but i don’t receive any mails.

      --- NEW ---
      I try it on a other MODx 0.9.5 Installation on a other server. Now i get the mail. So i think there’s something wrong with the server configuration. Or can it be a problem of MODx?

        I think is [(email_sender)] problem.
        I changed [(email_sender)] to my email.
        The form is working.
