      You can use $GLOBALS[’snippetname_YOU_VAR_NAME’], which is more self-eplanatory for PHP coder, or you can use setPlaceholder(), whic uses associative array to store its value, and basically the array var for this placeholder is beng set as global. So it’s actually not much different though.

      My suggestion will be to use this one
      $GLOBALS["SNIPPET_NAME"]["YOUR_GLOBAL_VAR_NAME"] = "Your global variable value";
