    Hi there,

I’m trying to create a form based (preferably with EForm) file-download solution.

The page visitor chooses the demanded file. But before he gets the download-link, he should type in his email and name for example. After the form is valid, he should get his download link.
Hot linking of the files should not be allowed.
I found a PHP based solution that works. I adapted it half the way now, but somehow MODx will not accept the header redirects I used within.

Any idea or available solution is highly appreciated. Many thanks in advance. smiley

    Best greetings

Had the same problem, the client didn’t want to spend much on it and I only came up with adding the links to the thank you message chunk.
If you come up with a cleverer solution then please post it wink

        Thanks for your reply, David.

I guess, the appropriate solution would be useful for several MODx-projects. Prolly a member of the coding team could give us some hints here. cool

In the meantime I’ll try another approach by combining ’&eformOnBeforeMailSent’ and PHx.. Although that won’t straighten out that hotlink stuff.

        Greetings
