wierd error .. all of a sudden

suddenly gettin gthis today .. on a site that was functioning ok!

also its only in IE 6 on pc .. not safari....

Is this on a shared hosting company’s server? There is an issue with some hosting companies who use clusters, and you can’t be sure that you will be getting the same server (and thus the same /tmp directory) on every page request. Such servers must have your session_save_path set to somewhere in your own space.

this is actually a the main account on a reseller account at personalsite.org.....

iv e had umpteen modx sites running on my own reseller account with no probs ( this is a customers account)

any ideas how i go about setting the session_save_path ?

seems really odd its only on my pc as well .. not my mac ...

restarted teh PC ... works fine now .. i hate windows ...
this is why i use a mac!

For the most part, I’ve been very happy with the service, which I’ve had for almost 3 years now. We had once incident where one server was down for a week because the data center where it was located totally screwed up a router upgrade and couldn’t revert -- so we had for the server to be shipped to a new location. But otherwise, everything has been very smooth. I even run some fairly high-traffic customers on it (20-30Gb per month) with fairly good performance for a shared server.

Ive had it about a year .. and there have been some minor bits .. not to many tho .. other than that its been great .. adam is pretty good.

im about to finish a very high traffic site for a fairly major UK band ...
i had them buy there own reseller account tho coz they get massive hits.. so hopefully they will have enough resources
