FormIT error messages don't behave like I want

Hey community first post!

I’m having an issue with the FormIt extension. When I add two error check parameters it outputs two error messages.

For example:



Will output something like this when the field is left blank.

Please enter a valid email address. This field is required.

do you guys know how to have it ONLY output just one error at a time? So that it looks like this:

Please enter a valid email address.

You can put out the required status by changing your input from that:



to that:

With Formit 1.1-RC2 I constantly get the following error message response:
formit.field_required

It is not properly picking up the correct language files.
