I’m pretty new to modx and php, but have been reading and searching without any luck for a couple of hours now. I have a modx site that requires a subscription form that has the above action, ie: <form method="post" action="
http://somesite.com/x/y/z/">, i managed to implement the eform for a contact form and understand that it creates an email to be sent to the specified address. but this doesn’t seem appropriate for the subscription form action request.
i’m keen to use formit or eform cos they validate the form and i still get lost with coding my own php form validation snippets
is there something i’m missing, or do i need to brush up on my php and if so, does anyone know of a good simple tutorial for modx/php/form validation?
