FormIt not sending mail (MODX Revo. Beta 5)

Hi there, I have the last formit (4 jan.) and this in my template. It it however not sending mail to my mail (no action and no error message).

Is there anything I can do ?? Any configuration mail in revo beta 5 ?

For one, your FormIt call is wrong. You have a missing ampersand, you should be using & instead of &amp, and you can make FormIt uncached:

Ok now with your call, it tells me " An error occurred while trying to send the email. " in the placeholder error.

Is there any configuration for the mail or something?

I have modx evo with eform on another domain on same server and working great without config..

Are you sure that the mail() function works on your host? That general mail failure message usually means that it is disabled or there is no mail server. If so, you may have to use SMTP.

Yes it’s working, i have many other things than FormIt to send mail but for revolution it looks like its the only one..

Where is the configuration in Revo?

SPForm will also send e-mail in Revo.

For Formit, I don’t have a mail server on localhost so I can’t test it, although I did get it to work with SMTP. AFAIK, all you should need is this:

Even with this call it doesnt work
"An error occurred while trying to send the email. "

I don’t find SPForm anywhere in the Package MAnager to download.. do you see it??

I see SPForm 3.0.9 beta 1 in one of my installs, but not in another.

I think a new transport package needs to be created for it because of some changes in Package Management. I’ll look into it when I get a chance.

Ok looking forward to it... do you have the package in a manual format instead ? which i could download and install myself
