All, i’ve been trying to move as much of our code into files out of the database. The main reason for that is that we manage and deploy our sites from Subversion. Keeping our code in files allows us to track changes as well as collaborate on the same project.
Normally what we do is create a chunk with the call to an external file. Like this: [[loadFile?&file=`assets/arc_chunks/contact_form.chk`]]. This loads the chunk content from a file and normally it works just fine.
But for some reason when i try to load a form definition Captcha image does not show up. Everything else looks fine but instead of the captcha image i see the alt text.
If i copy the same code from the file into the chunk itself everything works fine.
Is there something i can tweak to fix this?
Thanks in advance.

CAPTCHA is an unusual beast. The URL to the captcha image is actually the name of an executable PHP file that generates the image. The URL is also produced via PHP or JS code so as to append a random number as an argument to the URL (to prevent the same image from appearing each time). All this makes CAPTCHA references touchy. It may not be possible to do what you want.
