[solved] Weird problem...

Hi guys,

Here is the problem that I encountered on my production server.
I can run MODx with no problem, and everything works like a charm, until today, February 16th, 2006, the server start doing a weird thing. I’m not able to access the page, even if I could, it run really2 slow, which I have to wait for maybe about 4-8 minutes to load the site, or it will just stall like that forever, with the busy status on the browser keep rolling around.

It won’t be a problem if it’s doing this, because I know that this is a problem with the server, but the thing that is really weird, I can visit the manager with not problem, and I can even view the page on the preview window. BUT, I can’t preview it on the preview tab when you edit the page. It’s weird isn’t it? It seems that the one on the preview tab is acting the same way with the one that are accessible by the public user.

Don’t you think it’s weird? If I can’t access it from the front, or if it’s loading really slow, than how come I can preview it really fast inside the manager summary preview windows?

Any thought on this?

1) Validate the site (CSS and HTML).

2) Make sure that all links to JS libraries and whatnot are actually there, particularly in the head of the doc.

3) What kind of server?

I think it’s a server problem.

I highly recommend it... or, there might just be an interesting announcement in the near future that will make for an even MORE enticing option.
