I would like to include a very basic Contact form on a website I am building within the newest version of MODx. (I tried, tirelessly, to get eForm working and have simply given up.) I would like the form to be processed via php, but do not want to embed the php on the actual page where the form is to display. Since chunks do not process php, I am assuming I should use a template variable(s) for this application. I am not quite clear on how to go about doing this though. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks.

Sorry to hear you didn’t get eForm to work but if you’re just after a contact form perhaps have a look at SPForm: http://modxcms.com/extras.html?view=package/view&repository=10&package=426
