changing the form styles for ajax search?

hi all,

i know i can set the style of the form in the CSS, but i have a particular problem.

i just updated MODx and my plugins/snippets. after the update, my nicely formatted ajax search box has an ugly border around it, and has changed the input text i originally set for it. (see attached)

i can’t for the life of me find where i previously changed the input value for the search box, or how to get rid of that damn border.

any help?

assets/snippets/ajaxSearch/templates - layout.tpl.html (looks like its the <fieldset> area to remove the border)

assets/snippets/ajaxSearch/lang/### - these files are where to define the text
