    howdy, I’m looking at the generated pages output source and I’m not seeing anything different that if I did not use this plugin. Should I?

      Do you have checked "OnWebPagePrerender" under "Template Service Event"?

      How do you look at the page source? Full sourve view? In FF’s detailed view (don’t know the English word in FF context menu because mine is German) produces an "uncoded" result. Therefore check the full source view.

        This plugin was giving my site a 500 internal error, and causing an error in MODx saying that:

        PHP Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ’=’ in /home/hiperosc/public_html/manager/includes/document.parser.class.in

        which came from the evalPlugin function.

        Any help? I’m using modx 0.9.6.1

        Thanks.

          Using this plugin with modx 0.9.6.3 produces a strange result in IE6 and IE7, when clicking on the e-mail adress. In FF, Google Chrome and Safari there’s no problem.

          It opens the e-mail program as expected, but also produces a new page in the browser only showing When I disable the plugin, the problem persists.

          I have this problem on 2 different sites, with different hosts. modx 0.9.6.3 is a clean install.

          You can try this link to see what I mean. I also noticed the command in the statusbar of IE7, which differs from previous versions of modx (they just showed mailto:[email protected]).

          Anyone else experiencing this problem?

          Does anyone know a solution?

          * EDIT *
          I found out that the encoded mailto: has been saved to the database, including the question mark, so that explains why the problem persists even when the plugin is disabled.

          When I edit the code in the database and enable the plugin, everything works fine.

          So, the question really is: how can I prevent that the plugin encodes e-mail addresses as changed content is being saved?

            Since no one is responding, I keep searching for a solution.

            I found out that the problem only exists when using FCKeditor (I use version 2.6.3).

            When using TinyMCE, it works just fine.

            So, I’ve set TinyMCE as the default RTE to prevent this problem.

            Still, I would like to know how to solve the problem with FCKeditor.

            The support thread for FCKeditor is probably the best place to ask. rolleyes

              I am wondering if you can disabled this plugin for a certain page only?

                I suppose you could enclose the whole function in a conditional
                if($modx->documentIdentifier != 42) {
                 ...
                }

                    You also can disable a plugin for a certain template (if needed anytime):
                    if ($modx->documentObject['template'] != 21) {
                     ...
                    }

                      With Evo1.0.4 for some reason this plugin stopped working, throwing a fatal error: cannot redeclare email_regex() function.
                      My workaround is to slightly change the source.
                      Line 26:
                      if (!function_exists('email_regex')) { function email_regex() {

                      Line 61:
                      } }
