    I have browsed all topics related to QuickEdit ( I think ), but none of the solutions resolved the following.

    When Friendly URLs are on, QuickEdit does not show up. Without FURL, QuickEdit does show up. Unfortunately, one quickly gets used to FURL and going back to index.php?id=27 is, hopefully, a very remote solution.

    Symptoms :

    • the module/plug-in does not generate code to be included in the html while FURL are on - so we can exclude any JavaScript problem ;
    • calling QuickEdit by the "HTML method", <quickedit:content />, does not insert anything in the HTML code either
    • calling QuickEdit by the "Custom Links method" does work somehow : QuickEdit buttons do appear but the content seems to come from another page ( yes, I double-checked page IDs )

    So, what would be the difference between Friendly and Old Style URLs which would make QuickEdit invisible and speechless ?

    The server configuration is not really standard ( using WebSTAR 5 on MacOS X ), but as the problem comes from the HTML source I would assume that it has no impact.

    TIA to anyone who would chime in.

      I have friendly URLs turned on on several sites, and QuickEdit works fine on all of them. But these are all variations on the theme of LAMP (including Apache on OS X), so it may be your server and its rewrite functionality.
