images are no more previewed in "insert/edit images" dialog of TinyMCE

Since my last update of MODX, images are no more previewed in "insert/edit images" dialog of TinyMCE.
Does someone already meet this problem?

I have the same problem. It seems that the "resource path" path is not set correctly. You need to add the extended path to /assets/. Everyone has a different path but it will be something like "/user/username/http-docs/assets/". You can check this in phpinfo in the manager Reports > System Info.

I am sure this is a bug and will be corrected shortly so this would only be a temporary fix.

You’re right, it seems the ressource path has changed. I put my physical path:
/home/user/domains/mydomain.ext/public_html/assets/

But this is still ko on my side 

I created a folder through the TinyMCE dialog and I don’t see it. I checked on my server and the folder is well created and inside assets/images.

Once i corrected the resource path it worked for me. If this is not the main admin user (id1) check the user profile to make sure the resource path is not wrong there as well.

I checked the profile of my user who is the admin. The field is empty. Even is I fill it with the physical path, the problem is not solved.

update: using JPEGsnoop , I found out that my corrupt image does not start at offest 0. Actually, the start-of-image (SOI) marker is at offset 3.

So, any idea why and how there are 3 bytes at the beginning of my thumbnail that don’t belong there?

Hi,
I thought I’d add one more screwball thing that I found with this. I moved a site to a different host, and it worked perfectly except for image thumbnails being not seen in Tiny. I played with all the usual paths, and nothing helped.

Finally I decided to examine the thumbnails. They were totally borked, full of "distortion" when I displayed them. I don’t know if FTP borked them; I sort of doubt it, because my FTP program handles them as binaries, hard to say.

The solution was dirt simple in my case. All I had to do was delete all the thumbnails in assets/images (not the images). Then I opened the File Browser again and voila, the thumbnails were all re-generated and looked gorgeous.

I would guess that maybe on the different host the thumbnails are generated slightly differently or something. I hope that helps someone.
