MCPUK file browser permissions

    Am I going nuts here or is my assessment that the permissions needed for correct creation of thumnails in MCPUK is in fact 774 on a LAMP box. It certainly seems to need the group execute permission for apache although I don’t know why.. any ideas?

      Because the files are created by a script, which on your server is run as the apache user, since php is an apache module. Exactly what permissions are required depend on the server configuration, and how scripts like php are run.
