Hi peeps,
I’m have trouble making links to uploaded files.
E.g. When I upload a file in TinyMCE, and make a link to it (I can see the uploaded file and select it), and I save it, I’m still getting the error "Page Not Found" after clicking on the website.
I don’t have this issue elsewhere on other sites.
Is this a know bug and how can I fix it?
Thnx in advance.
Mike

Can you check if the path to the file is correct?
Maybe you can post the path

The link to the file:
http://www.railtoerweekend.nl/assets/files/Garwin/Route%20zondag%2017-05-2009.0
FTP path:
/wwwroot/assets/files/Garwin/Route zondag 17-05-2009.0
(I already tried to remove the spaces, and other filetypes)
I keep retrieving this error: The page cannot be found...
For testing purposes I gave the ’files’ directory and sub-directory all rights (CHMOD 777)

Okay I found out the extension .0 is blocked, when I change it to HTML or TXT it does open/wants to save.
So:
http://www.railtoerweekend.nl/assets/files/test.0 = blocked (The page cannot be found)
and
http://www.railtoerweekend.nl/assets/files/test.txt = want’s to save as.
.txt works like how I want it to but I want the same for the .0 extension files, I noticed this problem has nothing to do with modx?
Do I need to change something in the host/ftp settings?

Fixed it!:
You need to enter the unknown extension in the HELM control panel of your host in the MIME section (can be found under domainnames)
Here’s the solution guide:
