Formatting Code in FCKEditor

When viewing source in my installation of FCKeditor, all HTML runs together in a single block of text. I thought I had found an answer to this in the past, but am unable to locate it.

There is a wiki entry on Getting TinyMCE to Format HTML Source Correctly, but none for FCKeditor.

This thread (http://modxcms.com/forums/index.php?topic=4491.0) discusses the issue, but I’ve been unable to see any result with the solution that’s offered there.

I’d appreciate it if someone could help out with this issue or point me in the right direction.

What version of MODx are you running?

I’ve had this type of issue when I’ve installed TincyMCE on a static site (not a MODx site)... it had to do with the configuration options for the editor.

It’s 0.9.6.3 It’s doing the same thing on a site running 0.9.6.1p2.

TinyMCE doesn’t seem to have the same problem. I may have to stick with that for editing source code.
