Tinymce not showing TV contents in IE8

    I’m having a really strange problem with TinyMCE (4.3.0) with Revo 2.1.1.

    It works perfectly in all browsers, but for some reason TV contents aren’t rendered in IE8. If you open the html editor the code is there, and when you close it the TV contents appear. IE’s not reporting any JS errors. There’s nothing special about the TV’s - just rich text input type and default output type.

    Has anyone else come across this?

      MODXers- can you post fixes for how to get IE8 to display TinyMindedCorruptEditor?? It would be a HUGE help for those of us with MS wedded clients who are extremely reluctant to use any other browser.

      Don’t ask, don’t opine. Just tell me what I need to do so TinyMCE displays in Revolution.

      Or tell me it’s impossible so I can display a warning sign on my site.

        Our content in Rich Text Template Variables are not showing up in Internet Explorer 8 as well.

        Set-up:
        MODX Revolution 2.1.3-pl (traditional)
        TinyMCE 4.3.0-rc2

          I had the same problem. The solution for me was, to zoom the page to 75% and then back to 100%. Stupid IE.

            Anybody find a solution to this bug? I too have Rich TV's that don't display the content within the manager in IE8. If you click the HTML Source button and then click Update it will suddenly appear.

            However our client is using IE8 and that's not something we can really say to them to do each time they want to edit content.

            Any ideas at all?

              Any updates on this? Just started seeing this across the 20+ modx sites we have running. I think all of them are on Evolution 1.0.5.

              In Firefox and IE many (most) of the rich text tvs are not displaying any content, including the Resource Content TV. If you view the HTML, it's all there.

              I have found that I can use Chrome and see everything just fine, but the vast majority of users are still in IE or Firefox, so this is a significant usability issue.

              Thanks for the "zoom" idea... worked in firefox as well... so I'm telling my clients to do that for now, but long term, any potential solutions?
