I’ve just installed ModX 2.0.8 pl on a Unix shared server hosted at Network Solutions running php5. After a lot of struggle with the hosting company just to get modx installed properly I’m now at the stage of installing the text editor. I’ve used TinyMCE lots of times on various hosts and various modx versions. But for some reason it just won’t run here. I have it installed via package management, and it’s activated in the system settings. yet my documents do not display the editor (yes, Rich Text is checked) and new template variables that I create of type Rich Text do not work either. I’ve also tried changing the archive_with setting to yes just to see if it mattered and no change. Anyone know what I can do to fix this? It’s quite urgent.
