Guys, when I wrestle around with my newsletter snippet installation for edipo, I figure out that the [~id~]?mode=msg is displaying the wrong url for the browser, if there is no SEF option being turn on at all.

Here is the resulting address. http://www.domain.com/index.php?id=1?mode=msg

Can someone confirmed me with this one, so that I can make a bug track for this?

Wendy, this is not really a bug, since you are appending the ? outside the tag, without regard to friendly_url status -- are you doing this in a snippet? If so, you need to use $modx->makeUrl() which will handle this properly. The problem is, without friendly URLs, there is already a ?, so you would need to determine in your code whether to add the query string using ? or &. If you are doing this in content, I suggest writing a snippet that appends the query string to a link using $modx->makeUrl.

Thanks Jason for clarifying that. I used to use makeurl, but later I thought it will be possible for the parser to automatically generate the url in the right format. I’ll remember this for sure that makeurl will solve everything smiley.

        Sincerely,

You can also do what WebLogin does to figure out what character to append.
