TinyMCE & File Browser

Hi

I’m sorry, if this has been asking before but I couldn’t find any answer to this.

I’m using TinyMCE in Modx Revo 2.0.6. When I click on insert image, the file browser opens with the root listing. I would like to change the default starting point to the folder "assets" or even "images". Is that possible?

You’re not alone, I’ve been playing with Revo for a couple months, and I still can’t find some things quickly.
I just tried it, and here’s what I did:

System... System Settings

In the Filter by Area dropdown, choose File System.

Right-click on File System, and Update Setting. I put in /assets to try it out. This changed my image browser setting. It also changed my Files Setting over in the whatever-they-call-it uber thingie on the far left, so it appears to effect that, too.

Maybe there’s some way to do this via user permissions, but I have not looked into that.

Thank you dave. A friend of mine also told me, to change this and also to modify filemanager_url, rb_base_dir and rb_base_url. It works but the problem is, that all of a sudden, all my images on the website disapeared.

I’m very new to modx and I still have a lot to learn.

Maybe some more tipps on this topic?
