Hi ! I have some weird problems with 404 errors, for example when google ( google sitemaps ) searches my website for the robots.txt file, as i don’t have any, google gets to the 404 error page, but google just thinks it is a real page !!! ( in sitemaps i have something like that " google is unable to recognize this robots.txt file :" and then he’s showing me the 404 error page .... )
how can i solve this bug

( i read some time ago on another topic that i’ll have to wait for 9.2 version ... ),
however can i disable modx 404 errors support and go back to apache 404 errors

?
thanks
( sorry if my english sucks )

Hemm.. You might be able to create a dummy page called robot.txt on the alias, set the content type to be text. Hope that will do the trick to google, even though I’m not to for sure.
QUESTION: Anybody ever been reported that the page build modx contain redirection script on it? Mine does, I tried to submit my djamoer.net to silktide, and it’s reported that my site contain redirection script. Any thought on this?
Thanks

ummm... the modx site isn’t getting reported as a redirection script. Sounds like a server config.
Also regardig 404s, we’re going to address the way they’re handled in the next release.
