Having problems with TinyMCE install. Ran the package install and was successfully installed however the editor did not show up when editing the resource. So, I uninstalled and tried another install and things started to go wrong. Got the following message on the reinstall (see attachment one), then tried to uninstall and got the message (detailed in attachment two).
The last error is just hanging there. The OK box being disabled!
Any help is much appreciated.

modX Verison : MODx Revolution 2.0.0-pl rev7212
tinyMCE : tinymce-4.0.2-pl

Still unable to install this package. Can only assume its just me as no-one has replied. May have to give up on this and find another CMS to use as I can’t really let me client loose on their website handcoding HTML ! Before I do that though, is there an alternative to TinyMCE I can try that might just work ? Any help much appreciated...

That’s an interesting issue... I suspect you may just need to clear the files off the server for Tiny and then do a fresh install of it. I’m going to guess there is some left overs causing issues on that front.
And did you check if Tiny was the assigned RTE when it was installed?
Thanks for the suggestion - I shall have a go at clearing the files. I did check that it was assigned as the RTE after install and indeed it was but refused to show itself anywhere!
Right - now I’m confused. I’ve now managed to install the TinyMCE package. It completed with no errors and said that the installation was successful. I’ve checked the system settings; Editor to use is set as ’TinyMCE’ and Enable Rich Text Editor is set to ’yes’. I opened a document and checked that the Rich Text checkbox is ticked on the page settings and yet.... the editor does not appear in the resource content box... this is very frustrating... what am I getting wrong here? Anyone, any clues?

Hum... I don’t know off hand, could you tell us more about your server configuration?
