      Hey guys, that’s fine. It’s just that I’m kinda busy finishing up the project that I have right now. If I have some free time, I will surely help you guys out grin.

      FYI, the code that is not more than 10 lines, so it is really not a big deal for me, but sorry that I couldn’t test it out.

      Hope it works smiley

        Thank you very much, I changed with ’OnDocFormSave’ and I have my feature wink
        But it could be just an update so what about piece of code to control that. Have you got any ideas?
        I am going to look after that even if I am not a famous coder

          You can set this as a plugin, and create a plugin parameter on it. So basically the parameters will allow the manager to choose which option to turn on/off, by using string separated with coma for all the features to be used.

          Just a thought and my two cents, maybe you can come up with something nice to share to other people xeres.
          Feel free to share your project status and concern in this forum topic, we would love to assist you in making this done.

            I am not sure to understand everything, sorry. I just want an email notification for new document
            So I took your piece of code with a small modification and I put a test
            $create = &$modx->documentObject['createdon'];
            $edite= &$modx->documentObject['editedon'];
            if($create==$edite) {mail()}

            but it doesn’t work, I received my mail whereas it was just an update undecided

            I discover the modx API and it’s not easy. But be sure I hope to share my project even if it’s a very small contribution!

              Sure, those thing will not work out of the box, like what I stated. You might need to figure out whether the current event is being called for page update or page new. Ehmm... I can’t think of the code to check this status at the top of my head right now, but the best thing to look for is on manager/action/dynamic folder. Look for filename document edit or something like that. There has to be a file to take care the document editing. CHeck the code, and find the invokevent with value of the event for savig document. Check out when the event being called, and see what global variables that you can use to identified whether the current doc event is being called for new page or not.

              For now, I need to go home from my office. Take care smiley
