Customization on a per-editor basis?

Good morning folks! Does anyone know if it’s possible to control the initialization parameters for a specific editor instance added via a rich text tv? Among other things, I’d like to use TinyMCE’s ability to add custom buttons/functionality to generate pre-styled blocks of html that could be inserted into the editor via these custom buttons. Also, I’d like to be able to control the list of available css styles depending on what type of content is being written.

Taking this a step further, it would be really great if you could specify a group of relevant chunks (holding various blocks of html) in a tv from which end users could selectively drag and drop particular blocks into the text editor. Possibilities or dream on?
