Just FYI in case this helps someone, as I had a small freakout this morning... someone asked me about a site, I was looking in the manager, and I noticed that No Content was appearing in the editor! The live site displayed fine, and I could at least display the content by turning off WYSIWYG.
I use Firefox/Win, and tend to use Firebug all the time for development. I was running FF 3.0, and I had noticed that a new version 1.4 of Firebug had come out. At first, it said only compatible with FF 3.5, but the other day it said it was compatible with FF 3.0, so I installed it.
I uninstalled Firebug 1.4, and then Tiny was fine. But that was still a drag, because I really like Firebug. I decided to go ahead and install Firefox 3.5, and then re-tried Firebug 1.4. Tiny is now happy again!
So the upshot is that apparently FF/Win 3.0xxx is not totally happy with Firebug 1.4, at least where MODx/Tiny is concerned. FF/Win 3.5 and Firebug 1.4 is, however, a happy combination, at least for me.
Other good news is that this is only going to be a concern for developers, and clients will be blissfully ignorant... no client will be running Firebug unless they’re very, very strange and geeky.
