can't embed media with newspublisher and tinymce

hi all. i am using the newspublisher snippet to allow webusers to post content. i am using tinymce for the rich content. when someone tries to embed media, it doesn’t get published. no error or anything. any ideas on how to get it to publish? here is my snippet call:
