TinyMCE wraps with tags

I have had this going on for a while and I just realized it’s a pain When I place an image, and save the page, I reopen it to find the image is wrapped in a paragraph tag. There are other instances where these <p> tags show up, totally unwanted, sorry to say (surrounding <a> links, and other stuff that shouldn’t really be considered paragraphs).

Is there some way to prevent this happening, some setting somewhere that I’ve missed?

you probably have to use the search function of your editor

i use Notepad++ (...any editor will have a search function) -> http://notepad-plus.sourceforge.net/uk/download.php

OK, got it! Had to employ 3 text editors, but now I know where it is, anyway!
