Hey all,
Within the manager, I’m trying to use TinyMCE, but every time I try to edit I have to select TinyMCE from the dropdown because "none" is always selected by default. This doesn’t sound like a problem, but I’m pretty sure it’s messing up my QuickEdit, and i don’t have the ability to switch from "none" there.
If that’s not the problem, then I’ll have other issues with QuickEdit plain not loading TinyMCE but rather the HTML every time.

You can configure in the modx settings which editor to choose by default:
Tools > Configuration > Interface & Features > Editor to use

Thank you so much...I feel, to put it lightly, stupid. I went over that page probably 20+ times looking for different options, and apparently missed that one EVERY time.
It also helped my QuickEdit problem as well!!
