I had a development environment running MODx version 0.9.6.2 and PHP5 and MySQL5 and to publish the site live, I had to downgrade to PHP4 and MySQL4 [different server]. I just did a database dump and formatted for mysql4 and then uploaded it into the new DB and had a troubleshoot where snippets/plugins I wrote were using PHP5.
Now, sometimes the TinyMCE won’t load when editing a file through the manager and only shows the HTML instead. I’m thinking this may be a server/server config issue, but I wanted to run it by the forum to see if anyone else had any ideas.

This sounds more of a browser issue.
Check to see if all files are in tact, assets/plugins/tinymce/*
