Just wanted to add this as well as TinyMCE was adding mce_src on my images. Annoying...
In Revolution 2.0.0-rc-1 rev6614 you need to set the cleanup and cleanup on startup under TinyMCE plugin properties. Edit your page and save and the tag should be gone.
Also there is the remove_trailing_nbsp if your add snippets calls.
