How to upgrade - instructions please [Resolved]

Look I know this has been asked before and some people seem to have no trouble with it, but I can’t seem to upgrade to Tiny MCE 3.0.8.

I tried the instructions on the download page http://modxcms.com/TinyMCE-498.html

but when I try

Run the installer (http://www.mysite.com/install/).

I just get a 404 error message.

Any pointers on how to upgrade successfully?

Also is it possible to upgrade tot he latest version 3.1.0.1 or does it have to be the MODX version 3.0.8?

If you get a 404 error, you have removed the install-folder after your initial modx-installation (it’s optional - modx asks you if you want to remove that folder in the last step before you can go on and login to the manager for the first time. You probably confirmed that step.)

Download Tiny http://modxcms.com/TinyMCE-498.html
Download Attach http://modxcms.com/forums/index.php/topic,26901.msg164435.html#msg164435
Unpack Attach, copy tinymce.functions.php
to
assets\plugins\tinymce3101\tinymce.functions.php

Upload folders to your host (folders assets, install)
open yoursite.com/install
follow instructions.

I don’t have the install function.

All I get is a 404 error.

Therefore I cannot do as you say and

follow instructions.

etc.

The zipped archive came with an install folder. Put that install folder in your site root, then try it.

omg, my intructions is not clear

That would have puzzled me a bit, at least until I got accustomed to the MODx file system layout, and actually did a few installations.
