What does the raw HTML source look like? How are you editing, are you copy/pasting from Word or some other text editor? That sort of looks like some kind of editor formatting line breaks.

Not copying anything. This is an already formatted document, edited within the TinyMCE application. Upon saving it it does this. I’ve seen this happen on a few of the sites I am running. It’s quite frustrating to make a small change and this happens.
The raw source is simply run-on words with no markup around it.

Do you, by chance, have the rich text editor turned off in TinyMCE?
I think if you have it off and hit return without typing a space the stuff on the next line will be run together with the end of the line above.
Also, with the RTE off, you have to enter your own markup (<p></p> etc.)

This isn’t to do with hitting return - or new lines, this is simply hitting the space bar within a paragraph.
The RTE is on, since it is generating the markup but oddly words are being put together.

That
is odd. I guess I’d try re-installing TinyMCE at this point.

Perhaps it’s a browser issue? What browser + OS do you use? WYSIWYG editors use tons of Javascript, so I wouldn’t rule out browser-bugs completely...
Try editing with another (recent) browser and see if the same word-mashing happens there too.

Hello - sorry for delayed reply.
We are using FireFox on the Mac. Safari 3 still has lots of issues with a lot these sorts of scripts.
We have a Windows machine in the office but would be a pain to have to use that just in this scenario.
Anyone else using a Mac with any issues like this?
