Hi there,
I´m just asking myself, how you define "Visits" and "Unique Visitors" in the visitor stats menu? Whats the difference? What do you count? What do you filter?
Would be great if you bring me enlightment
Thanks a lot,
best regards,
Karsten

AFAIK Unique Visitors are the number of inividual computers that have visited your site, and Visits are the number of times those uniques have come, and hits are the number of times a page is viewed.

That would be my definition too... but then...
...how does this magic work?
Probably I simply think in the wrong direction?
Thanks a lot for every thought,
greetings,
Karsten
Hm. I thought visits was how many "site hits", page impressions was how many "page hits", and visitors was how many unique visitors.

Hmmm.. But even if we take the bots into the statistics - shouldn´t the amount of "unique visitors" be at least equal or (more realistic) less than the amount of "visits"?
