Support/Comments for TinyMCE

Regarding some of the problems with the Resource Manager for some people...I’m very close to releasing an updated version of the TinyMCE that will hopefully fix the issue for most of you. I’ve completed a full rewrite of the plugin code so...stay tuned! Should have it out this weekend!

There might be a custom plugin for this on the MoxieCode site (http://tinymce.moxiecode.com). Other than that, I would need to sit down and figure out how to create a custom plugin for TinyMCE...which is perhaps the one thing I haven’t done yet with TinyMCE.

the latest version of tinymce includes a new template plugin - I guess this is what you’re looking for.

@Bravado: sounds good for me, I can wait for the newest version of tinymce.

btw: Why modx isn’t listed here: http://wiki.moxiecode.com/index.php/TinyMCE:CMS_systems? I think it should to show other people their is a better cms

Since it is a wiki i was like "Hell lets just add it", which I did.

Then i read this:
"If you choose to add your product link here, please try and provide a link to tinymce.moxiecode.com from your page as well, thank you."

Maybe someone could do the tinymce community this favor *if* it is not placed somewhere yet which i am not sure about.

Since 2.0.9, I can’t get TinyMCE works in Advanced or Custom theme... I only get the simple toolbar.

I’ve reinstalled completely the plugin, I tried to change config in Options > Config and in plugin Config but nothing worked.

And, with 2.0.8, we could choose to display toolbar at the top or at the bottom of the content. Where can we change this settings ?

Edit : Ok, I’ve reinstalled a new MODx installation and TinyMCE 2.0.9 works great... The only thing I found confusing is that you can choose config in both Options > Config and plugin config while only Options > Config is used. Why not choose only one way to choose plugin settings ?

I notice that version 2.1.0 of Tiny MCE is out.

Can this be dropped straight into the ModX plugin, or does it need extra work?

Jeff (bravado) is currently working on it and committed a version to his internal branch already.

Are you going to support WebKit nightly builds?

I’d love to use Safari/WebKit to edit my Sites and tinyMCE should be working on the nightly builds of WebKit.
