I will have to guess which version of MODx you’re using. I’m looking at Evo. If you clicked the Insert Embedded Media button, did you also click the small button under "Flash"? That button will prompt you for files. Not text, though, which is what you’ve included in your post. To stick that in, you could try Edit HTML Source instead.

If, instead, you are intending to upload sude.flv to that folder in your code, you might have trouble, as Tiny has preset folders for all that kind of stuff. It might be assets/media or assets/flash, I don’t recall. That being the case, FTP upload of the file may be best, and then sticking that code above in your HTML page.

            Hi,
I guess we’re having a language barrier situation. smiley I do not have Tiny in Revo, I have CKEditor (which I guess they pulled out, possibly to unify the system under Tiny?).

I tried using CKEditor’s Flash icon. I was presented with a screen to choose a file, Browse Server, and this showed the MODx Resource Browser. After looking around for awhile, I managed to find the upload button, and tried to upload an FLV file, it said
            "file type not permitted".

I went back to System, System Settings, Filter by Area, File System...
and changed "Uploadable Flash Types" to include FLV. It was ONLY THEN that I found out that this setting apparently needs Flash files to be in assets/flash, which of course is not created during Revo install, so I had to create it.

Then I went back, and was able to upload the FLV file to assets/flash. My test page didn’t play the file, though. Presumably I need to install a player for that. I know how to do that in Evo, but not in Revo. But at least I got the file and code into the page. Maybe that will help you, maybe not.

            Good luck.

            Good luck, Dave
