WANTED: Advanced file manager for uploading photos to website directory

Hi,
Im in the process of researching the best way to manage the uploading of multiple photos to my website directory.

Im running the latest version of Revolution.

The existing file manager in Modx doesnt seem that great. KCFinder looks pretty good but the current integration only seems to apply if you want to add images to page content. Im wanting to upload to various directories on the server.

Any suggestions appreciated.

The Janitor package http://modxcms.com/extras/package/720has an FTP client that may help you, backend only though.

Would it be difficult to implement ajaxexlporer into the backend manager on its own page?

Ive never done a custom modification to Modx so maybe this can be my first attempt!
