Hi. I’ve come across this on a clients site today, in 0.9.1.

When clicking on some of the menu options, the statistics and Schedule pages for example, it opens the page as full window (_parent ?), not in the right hand frame (removing the tree and menu from the window).

Am using the classic menu style, with the menus in a box on the left with the tree below it.

It doesn’t do it from my own PC. Both IE6 on XP SP2. Any ideas?

Also, where do I change the default height of the menu box?

    Thanks.

Any ideas on this one? ... to recap...

      1. Menus opening full screen in the browser window (removing the menu)
      2. Classic menu height (in CSS or a config file?)

      Thanks.

I don’t know about the menu and tree disappearing, I’ve never had that happen.

The menu, the tree, and the right panel are all frames in the manager/frames folder. To change the default size of these frames, you have to edit the main frame, 1.php, changing the values in the frameset tags. You’ll need to look at the first layout, commented as Basic layout - layout 1.

I believe this is what you’ll want to change in line 24:

        <frameset rows="200,*" name="menuFrame"

Ahh. Thanks for the info. Perfect. smiley

The menu/tree disappearing is a strange one granted. I’m thinking it’s something to do with IE’s settings, but not had the opportunity of looking into it any further. I wondered if anyone else had come across it.

            Hi there

            I’ve just encountered this also

main manager screen fine, but when going to a sub page (manage resources for example) ,
the right frame takes the full screen. ur folder tree disappears, as does the logout/help links in top right

u have to strip the url back to .../manager/ + reload the page and access the tree again

this isn’t a huge prob, but a wee bit nippy!

last poster used IE, i fly on the fox - browser doesn’t seem to matter

I’ve heard others have similar probs. Thought i’d back up this post to save others from wastin time (like me)

I’ve reported the same problem in the past. No solution that I know of. I think OpenGeek wondered if it was something connected to server settings.

I’ve had it happen when my cookies get messed up for whatever reason, usually when I’ve upgraded without logging out first.

I know this can happen in Firefox with certain extensions and extension settings. If it’s happening in Fx but not in other browsers, I’d lean that way in my investigation.

It has happened for me with FireFox 1.5/XP and IE 7/Vista...

One one site in particular I can log in then click on Resources -> Chunks and it loads without the tree and menu. Does this every time.
