    Hi there,

I don’t know if any of these 3 addons feature this but I couldn’t find it so far:
TinyMCE, FCKeditor or MCPuck File Browser

Or maybe is it already build into MODx?

I’m looking for a plugin, addon, snippet or anything to do the following: I want to upload a PDF file and place a link to it within the documentcontent. So people who visit the site can click and download the file.

Does anyone know where this can be found in MODx or which addon I need to install for this?

    Thnx in advance!
    Mike

You can either do it through the File Manager or you can do it by clicking on the little icon to the right of the ’Link URL’ field when creating a link in TinyMCE.

If you do it through File Manager, you will have to create the link through TinyMCE (or manually). With TinyMCE, you can create the link again by clicking on the icon to the right of Link URL.
