after setting up YAMS on my MODX website and doing all the configurations right, I still get 404 error page not found. What could be the problem?? Any ideas?
    • Did you copy/paste the rewrite rules to your .htaccess file?

problem solved thanks smiley working now. I had to also change file path at yams.config.inc.php since the path points to a sub directory. Thanks again.
        • I'm having an awful time with YAMS this time around. Tried everything I can think of, and the home page still won't link correctly, giving me a 404 for /home.html, when it should be going to /bmp/<lang>/home.html; this is what shows when hovering over the link. All the other pages work, but the Wayfinder homepage link just won't work, nor will the initial landing for the domain work.

If I don't give the home page an alias at all, the auto-generated 1.html works fine.

What's really weird is that an alias of "index" works as expected, but "home" doesn't! [ed. note: sottwell last edited this post 12 years, 5 months ago.]
