YAMS and general tab

Hi everyone, I set up a website with yams for my friend. He’s newbie, begginer etc.

He asks me why he has to fills up the same fields in general tab as in default language’s tab. Is it any way to remove some fields from General and Page settings at EVOLUTION?

yes of course, go to the Modules section, choose YAMS -> configuration tab and in the "document layout settings" choose "hide fields" for the first item "hide redundant fields"

this will hide Longtitle, description, introtext, content and so on, say fields that need to be filled for each language
