For those people who are planning to upgrade to MODx 1.0.4, I just did a quick test of YAMS on a fresh MODx 1.0.4 install and didn’t encounter any problems.

Thx, we will report if we’ll found some.
Here we go the problem,
When I created a new resource, the title kept empty.
EDIT:
Ahhh... perhaps I know the problem. The Tabify does not work.
I created the title right in the original MODx’s field.
The language TVs are down under.
Perhaps the ManagerManager installation override your settings?

Hi Goldsky. Sorry for taking a while to get back to you. YAMS has an option [tt]Module>YAMS>Other Params>Document Layout Settings>Autoupdate Manager Document Title[/tt]. If this is set to Yes then the document variable pagetitle field will get synchronised with the value of the default language pagetitle tv when the document is saved. I suspect that your default language pagetitle field is empty, so each time you save the document the document variable pagetitle gets reset to blank.
So, you can either switch off the auto-synchronisation or set the default language pagetitle.

Sorry to hear that. Probably a good idea to start a new thread if you’re still stuck.

The problem is that the 1.0.4 installs the newer version of ManagerManager, and it uses the mm_rules_demo again.
After I changed to mm_rules , and synchronized the YAMS again from its module, everything was fixed.

Please can you tell me what encoding is your manager interface set to? YAMS comes with some languages pre-defined. The text for those languages is encoded in UTF-8, so if your manager interface is not using the UTF-8 encoding the text might not show up properly. In that case, going to the "language settings" section of the YAMS interface, updating the text and re-saving should fix it.
Does the text display correctly if you go to the language settings section of the YAMS module by the way?
An encoding bug in YAMS has been reported for the 1.2.0 RC3 release candidate of YAMS, but I haven’t had time to fix it yet. I think it’s unlikely that to be related to your problem, but I thought I’d mention it. I’m not going to have time to fix this bug before the end of next week.
Unicode (UTF-8).
But it does not affect the Manager, right?
Strange, it didn’t occur on MODx 1.0.3.
