I’ve run into the problem that ManagerManager doesn’t hide the extra Template Variables for multilingual resources. I get the extra tabs for the languages, but the TVs are all double below.

    This is for
    MODx 1.0.0
    YAMS 1.0.5-beta
    ManageManager 0.3.7

I’ve read that there was an issue with MM and MODx 1.0.1 as described here: http://modxcms.com/forums/index.php/topic,41241.msg248742.html However, the lines discussed are fixed in 0.3.7 of MM.

    Any other clues?

I solved it by upgrading to 1.0.2 plus following the hack described here: http://modxcms.com/forums/index.php/topic,42403.0.html

<rant>It’s a bit painful that MODx is in such a version mess that things don’t play together or break from one version to another (or need hacks...)</rant>
      • As far as "version mess" goes, all software is subject to this. Any improvements to any software involves painful decisions as to backwards and/or third-party compatibility. This goes for anything from Windows to PHP itself.

Susan, you’re right and I didn’t mean to be rude. Apologies. I guess the difference is that MODx to a large extent lives from the extensions, plugins, modules, snippets, ... that make it such a great and flexible tool. But the other side of the coin is that it makes it so tricky to keep everything playing nice with each other...

Anyway, I’ll keep posting my learnings on the way so that others can benefit wink

Actually, another way to solve this is to upgrade YAMS to the latest 1.1.7-alpha which is available here: http://nashi.podzone.org/assets/files/yams_1.1.7_alpha_rc7.zip
