Use PhpMyAdmin to check in the database in the modx_site_content table and make sure the createdon field is not empty.

Glad you got it working.
BTW, if that works, some snippet is setting the placeholder (e.g. Ditto).

This format also seems to be working on Modx installs where I havent installed the PHx plugin?
Any ideas why?
I believe that Ditto has its own phx library.
